Kindly take a look at photos below and try to guess what are these nice guys building and where exactly does it happen :-)

Answer: This is the launch pad for Soyuz rocket being built in Korou, French Guyana. Kudos to Gabriel ;-)

Baikonur? I wonder why they are all blue and yellow, though… Probably has something to do with Ukraine :-) (????)

Dear Instanton,

This is indeed a launch pad being built, but not in Baikonur ;-) To my knowledge, blues and yellows have nothing to do with Ukraine (and I actually have no idea what those colors mean :-) )

well certainly its a launcher pad for a soyuz rocket. and it is in french guyana (korou). the rocket soyuz will be a soyuz 2 model or ST, STA, or STK. it is planed to put satellites in GEO.

Hi Dmitri!. I really don?t know the meaning of the colours. I just know this is the first soyuz pad built outside Russia. I konow there is two in Baikonur and trhee more in Plesetsk. It is a nice oportunity to see the construccion of this pad wich was built under secret in times of the Soviet Union.

I?m on the colour thing…
