214. Video of the day: triumphs and challenges for modern cosmology
This is a lecture given by J. Peebles at UC Berkeley, very clear and fun to listen. The video is a bit too dark, though, so you will probably want to turn off the light.

Did J. Peebles give a talk at Jabes Peebles? (A comment about two nice typos of yours.) Is Jabes Peebles the same place where James Peebles was talking, after a nice introduction by a fun Nobel prize winner?
It’s an entertaining talk, thanks. Cosmologists are often close to many religious and philosophical discussions – it’s kind of mysteriously shivering although I was never buying the “cultural part” of it.
Corrected, thanks! Where Jabes Peebles came from – I have no idea
Unfortunately, I have to admit that this is quite true.
This is a good talk. In fact, people say that this is the golden age of cosmology. (that’s why I work in cosmology:-) ).
